    Onca Returns....
    Tribal Bellydance Workshop
    with Onca O'Leary
    of
    Baraka Mundi

    Sunday, June 21, 2009
    Metamorphosis Fitness
84 Main st, Gloucester, MA 01930

    Workshop One 12:00 - 1:30PM
    Spicy Drills & Campy Combos-
A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, so add some fun to your personal practice with
these sassy drills and combinations. Onça will share with you some of her favorite tools, moves, and
sequences to get your natural genius flowing. This workshop is great for encouraging dancers of all
levels to tighten up on technique and loosen up the creative Muse."

    Workshop Two 2-4pm
Every Dancer's Must-Have Tools: Fan & Cane, Foxy & Folkloric

Both of these props offer limitless potential to the working artist: It's all how you handle their intrinsic
    power to flirt and assert.
Fan is an indispensable part of the working artist's toolkit. Onça's fan fusion is long on emotive
power, attitude and upper body strength. Savor the flavor of your passion unleashed. Most standard
fans will work: feather fans and fan veils will be discussed, but are not usable for the purposes of
    class.
Cane, or 'Raks Assaya', is a traditional woman's dance art that offers tremendous creative expression
to Fusion, Burlesque, and Vaudeville artists. Learn sustainable cane technique and explore combos
with attitude. Great for developing both troupe precision and the theatrical face of fusion. Onça's
preferred canes & fans will be for sale at the event, or bring your own!
